We recommend every effort to save the natural tooth. Natural teeth function better and last longer than any replacement. Extraction also creates a gap that should be addressed, adding cost and treatment. Root canal followed by a crown is the superior long-term investment in most cases.
When Extraction May Be Preferable
When a tooth is structurally unrestorable, when infection has compromised the surrounding bone beyond recovery, or when the cost of treatment is not feasible — extraction may be the more practical choice. We discuss all options honestly.
